Pedaling Patagonia

From October 2019 until the end of January 2020, My friend Rose and I were privileged to witness the raw beauty and the wild spirit of the very south part of the Americas. Little did we know that the world would change forever few weeks after returning home to Svalbard, Norway. Patagonia bears a nature so honest. From wind-swept steppes to towering peaks, rivers born from ancient glaciers to never-ending dirt roads, we somehow, and more or less gracefully, let our bicycle follow the path south.

Memories of this time are of the wildest, in the most basic sense. Whether they speak of the nature of the Earth or the one of Humans. The distinctive features of the land and the typical climate, coupled with the limits of our very own human body and mind offered hardships that only made us struggle for growth purpose, and granted us with an immense sense of bliss and freedom.
